Need ideas for your November outfits in 2025? From classic denim to luxe wool coats and plush knits, my November outfit ideas below feature autumn staples and are perfect for staying comfy and on-trend this fall!

Chic November Outfit Formulas

November is one of those transitional months that can be particularly tricky. It’s not quite winter yet, but the air has that undeniable chill, and you definitely need to be prepared for a dip in temperature.

If you’re trying to plan out what cool-weather pieces to pair together this November and need a little inspiration, I’ve got you covered. Ahead are some of my go-to November outfits, along with my best advice on how to mix and match fall wardrobe staples for chic and versatile looks.

So, whether you’re a jeans-and-sneakers kind of girl or someone who prefers polished looks, my fave outfit formulas below will help you look elegant and effortless this November!

Casual Neutrals

get the look:

There’s something about a white-on-white base that feels fresh even in late fall. Instead of going with optic white, I lean to off-white, ivory, and ecru shades.

This look is a favorite of mine; it’s effortlessly cool, with clean lines, classic pieces, and just the right amount of contrast, thanks to the grey v-neck cashmere sweater and long black wool coat (the one pictured above is from Mango!).

The earth-toned Adidas Spezial sneakers add a laid-back vibe to this look, and I love this option for a school drop off, running errands, or enjoying weekend brunch.

Fringe Benefits

get the look:

In my opinion, a fringed suede jacket is a must for an outfit that’s elevated yet fun! I start with a simple base for this look og classic blue jeans and a slim black cardigan, topped off with this chic fringe jacket from Jigsaw (I linked similar options above as it’s a sold out style) and sleek, heeled leather boots from Poppy Barley(use code STYLEYOUROCCASION-25 for $25 off!).

This outfit is ideal for a laid-back lunch or an evening of cocktails with friends. I love grabbing my leather crossbody pouch from Quince for this look. I can keep it as a clutch for something stylish and elegant, or add the crossbody strap to stay hands-free while out and about!

Splash of Snakeprint

get the look:

On the hunt for a November outfit that feels polished and sophisticated but is simple to put together? My outfit formula above won’t disappoint!

For this look, I start with a perfect pair of affordable straight-leg jeans, add a classic neutral sweater before layering on this timeless wool scarf jacket from Quince (a perfect TOTEME dupe!) and finishing the look with sleek snakeskin slingbacks from Zara.

The final result? An outfit that’s classy, eye-catching, and perfect for a date night or special occasion this November!

Double Denim & Wool

get the look:

I love a chic double denim look, and pairing soft blue jeans with a medium or dark blue denim top is a combo that’s both modern and stylish. This Quince chocolate brown wool coat adds warmth and depth to the outfit, making it ideal for a day spent hitting my favorite spots in town.

For the finishing touches, I love adding high-quality leather accessories (leather pointed Chelsea boots, slouchy leather shoulder bag from Quince, etc.) to create subtle contrast through texture and color.

Cozy & Tonal

get the look:

For this look, I’ve chosen soft, tonal pieces that have a casual, cool vibe. Off-white barrel jeans coupled with a camel sweater, creamy fleece jacket, and smooth suede create a look that’s equal parts effortless and cozy. I love this outfit formula for a laid-back weekend in November.

The Zara suede clogs offer a relaxed finish (these are from last season so I’ve linked similar options above!), while the velvety brown suede Quince shopper bag (one of my favorites for fall) is perfect for all of my daily essentials.

Pop of Burgundy

get the look:

This is one of my favorite November outfits for when I’m running errands, dropping of kids, and checking things off my to-do list! These pieces are practical and comfortable. The color palette feels sophisticated but still playful, with a pop of burgundy/maroon from my Samba sneakers

A simple white tee and blue barrel jeans are an easy first layer. After that, I add a slim-fitting cardigan (stylish on its own but easy to wear under thicker pieces) and this dark heather-grey coat that I can easily take on and off as needed.

Modern Parisian

get the look:

Minimalistic yet très chic, this next outfit formula is a must for a timeless and versatile look. It’s a great choice for just about anything, from work to dinner to a shopping day!

Darker wash blue jeans are always a great choice in the fall months, while the ivory cardigan both softens and brightens the look.

To finish this outfit, my heeled boots and a chic, softly textured crossbody (I adore the Italian Leather Patchwork Crossbody I added to the graphic above) add dimension and subtle feminine flair!

Leggings, But Luxe

get the look:

You know as well as I do…some days just call for leggings! However, that doesn’t mean they can’t be dressed up for an effortless “I woke up like this” look.

Above, I’ve paired black leggings with an oversized-fit cashmere sweater, combining classic tones with comfy pieces. The long camel wrap coat creates a chic, streamlined silhouette while also adding a touch of timeless fall color and warmth.

Last but not least, I’ve added neutral, casual sneakers, making this look ready for school drop-offs, grocery runs, and anything in between!

Suave in Suede

get the look:

A brown suede coat (rich in both texture and color) adds something extra to a simple fall outfit! I’m wearing a suede jacket I picked up from Zara last year, but I love this very similar style from Nordstrom as a great alternative.

For this outfit formula, the jacket and the Poppy Barley cinnamon suede boots work together to sandwich the turtleneck and jeans creative a cohesive vibe, and that extra bit of coverage to keep me cozy on a breezy November day.

Quilted Comfort

get the look:

A quilted liner jacket is definitely a must for my November outfits lineup! It’s a sleek, lightweight version of a puffer coat, and is ideal for days when I want to look pulled together but plan to be out and about.

Deep brown Chelsea boots and a suede shopper tote balance out the cool tones with warmth and richness, and they’re practical pieces that will keep you comfortable throughout the day.

Monochromatic Moment

get the look:

The final formula on my list of November outfits is soft and cozy with the ultimate fall palette! A monochromatic ensemble is so easy to put together and creates an effortless aesthetic. The varying shades of brown, with a touch of cream-colored denim, are well-balanced yet still warm.

The richness of the long coat adds depth to my outfit and is perfect for a casual day spent around town. I love suede clogs for a relaxed vibe, though I can easily swap them for dark brown boots if the day calls for it.

And, this Quince suede shopper tote is truly the cherry on top!

With these November outfit formulas above, I’m ready for whatever this month has in store for me! Which of these looks will be your go-to for the month of November?!
