If you want to capture that vineyard chic aesthetic, check out this first look. A white poplin midi skirt is one of my favorite pieces for spring and summer. It can be dressed up or down and is guaranteed to get you tons of compliments.

There are infinite ways to style it, but I love the idea of wearing it with this knit tank vest, minimalistic heeled sandals, and this affordable J.Crew basket bag. The next time I try this combo, I’ll be accessorizing with vintage-inspired jewelry, like the Petra Shell Necklace from Juju Vera.

Corset, Printed Maxi Skirt + Basket Bag

@tessalindsaygarcia

For sunny days in wine country, you’ll love this chic wine tasting outfit! To recreate the look, start with a printed maxi skirt (I love this zebra one) and a corset or tank top. Accessorize with mesh ballet flats or sandals, sunnies, and a basket bag big enough to take a couple of wine bottles home in.

Radiant in Red

shop red dresses:

Easy cotton or linen maxi dresses are my favorite wine-tasting outfits because they’re chic, comfortable, and cool in hot weather. I’m loving these fiery red shades for summer—especially with a fresh tan! But feel free to add a pop with any color or print that you love.

Accessorize with a statement necklace and a cute hat to keep the sun out of your face.

Gingham Girl

@monicasanluis

Embrace one of 2025’s hottest summer trends by wearing a matching gingham set to your next winery outing. Monica’s Cynthia Rowley set is no longer available, but you can achieve the same vibe with this gingham set from Posse or a gingham dress!

Amp up the cool girl vibes with woven leather flats and a shoulder bag.

Pinot and Polka Dots

The easiest way to get winery-ready is with a summer dress. I love this feminine Doen navy polka dot dress paired with cream accessoriesit’s so elegant! This look would be perfect for any European winery trips you may have planned.

I picture myself wearing this outfit for wine tasting in Tuscany or Burgundy, France, as I stroll through centuries-old vineyards sipping pinot noir.

Double Denim

@allisonkelleyy

Consider wearing denim-on-denim for your next vineyard tour. Allison wore this chic dark denim Meshki set on her trip to Napa, styling it with some flat knee-high boots from Sézane, which are super practical for wandering through vineyards.

Swap the denim vest for a long-sleeve jacket to transition this look into late summer or early autumn.

Classy Casual

@ashlan.pruitt

If you and your friends are visiting some urban wineries, I recommend getting inspo from the above outfits. Lightweight linen shorts or a mini skort paired with a basic tank, tee, or tube top makes for cute winery outfits that look good without trying too hard.

Trendy yet comfortable sneakers are a must when bopping around to different wineries in the city!

Style tip: Indoor tasting rooms can be chilly in the summer, so remember to bring a jacket or cardigan to combat the AC.

Effortlessly Boho

@maddieperry

The sun is out, the wine is crisp, and it’s the perfect time to show off your cute winery outfit. Take inspo from Maddie, who wore a flowy white mini skirt, oversized denim shirt, and tall suede Western boots for a wine tasting tour around Paso Robles, California. Just add some fun earrings, and you’re ready to go!

Style tip: Love the look of a mini skirt but want to feel more comfortable? Go for a skort instead. They have the same look as a mini skirt but with the added ease of built-in shorts.

Beautiful in Brown

For styling sipping, wear a brown maxi dress with your favorite strappy sandals. This simple but sophisticated look is perfect for a summer dinner at a winery because it’s chic yet airy. Plus, the brown color will help hide any accidental wine spills!

Grab a cool pair of sunglasses and a brown woven bag to finish off the look.

Cowgirl Chic

For a cowgirl chic look, consider teaming a white poplin midi skirt with a denim vest. Suede accessories like these cowboy boots and a cute shoulder bag bring in texture and Western flair. This outfit would be especially cute for a bachelorette party visiting wineries around Nashville or Texas wine country.

All-Black Everything

@cocobeautea

If you want to look put-together, you can never go wrong with an all-black look! We’re obsessed with this drop-waist style of poplin dress—it’s so comfortable and pretty for summer. But you could also achieve the same look with a black poplin skirt and bodysuit.

Finish with ballet flats and a luxe handbag, and you have a winery outfit that can easily transition from a wine tasting event to an elegant dinner.

Casual Sipping

@katelamont_

Some wineries are more casual. In those cases, reach for summery basics you already have in your wardrobe, like light-wash denim or eyelet shorts and a cute top. Coupled with sunglasses, minimalist gold jewelry, and a glass of red, these breezy looks can take you from a relaxed lunch to a catchup with friends.

Style tip: If the sun is strong, don’t be afraid to wear a hat! A raffia hat is the perfect accessory for added sun protection.

White Mini Dress + Sandals

@gingerosesmith

Nothing is better on a warm, sunny day than sipping delicious wine and showing off your cute outfit. For an easy, breezy aesthetic that works for all occasions, style a white cotton mini (or midi) dress with a stylish basket bag and heeled sandals.

It’s dressy enough for date night at an estate winery yet casual enough for a wine tasting or picnic.

Delicate Details

@isla

Brides-to-be, take notes! A gorgeous lace dress is perfect if your Bachelorette party involves a winery (or several). Keep the styling minimal with simple jewelry and easy sandals, and throw on a denim jacket if it gets chilly. Just be careful not to spill any wine on your white dress!

Likewise, you can achieve a similar look by styling a lace skirt (another trend fashion girls can’t stop wearing) with Western-style booties and a basic tee. The key is balancing out the delicate fabric with more casual pieces.

Butter Yellow Pants + Strapless Top

Outfit of graphic of yellow trousers with a white strapless top and white sandals.

No matter where you’re visiting, this winery outfit is sure to turn heads. Sandwich butter yellow silk or satin trousers (or this soft creamy linen set) with a strapless top (this crepe option is so elevated) and coordinating sandals for an effortless, cool-girl style.

You can opt for a neutral pair of trousers, but this butter yellow pair is so dreamy for summer and adds a subtle pop of color that really elevates the whole look. Stay on theme with a wine-colored shoulder bag.

Mini Dress + Loafers

@saraahperez

Another fool-proof winery outfit for summer? A mini dress (this Princess Polly polka-dot dress is so cute!). This throw-on-and-go piece is easy yet elevated, and perfect for when the temperatures are boiling.

The styling is simple. Stick with your everyday jewelry and a cute shoulder bag. The beauty of mini dresses is that you can wear them with any shoes, from sneakers and sandals to heels and boots. Feeling preppy? Take a page from Sarah’s style book and rock loafers with socks.

Denim Jacket, Mini Skirt + Boots

@itsnataliepark

Here’s another Western-inspired winery outfit that’s perfect for any Nashville or Texas vineyard tours!

By pairing a white lace mini skirt with a basic tee and Western boots, you’ve got a cute and easy look made for a winery. For evening tastings, throw on a denim jacket as an extra layer.

One-Shoulder Top + Trousers

@mademoisellejaime

If your style is refined and minimal, I think you’ll love this next summer winery outfit.

Baggy trousers are always a comfortable and chic option since they have a more polished feel than jeans or denim shorts. For hot weather, opt for breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, or viscose that help regulate body temperature. Then pair it with a lightweight top for a summery feel.

I’m taking inspo from Jamie-Lee, who styled her gray trousers with simple sandals, silver jewelry, and an organic cotton tank from Deiji Studios. This look can take you from work to the winery, but it’s also great for traveling because elevated basics like this can be mixed and matched with countless other pieces.

The Trendy Set

@briwehan

A cute trendy set matches perfectly with a glass of chardonnay! This polka dot set includes two popular trends for summer 2025: smocking and a bubble hem. Both of which are super flattering on all body types, including my midsize and plus-size girls.

Complete the look with a neutral shoulder bag and a mix of unique jewelry.
