For the fall 2026 season, I’m sharing my full “that girl” daily routine, hour by hour, because becoming her is about so much more than the aesthetic.
That Girl Fall Daily Routine
If you have been on Pinterest or TikTok lately, you have probably seen the “that girl” trend everywhere. She is the girl who wakes up early, has her skincare down to a science, and somehow makes even a Tuesday feel intentional. This fall, I wanted to put together a full “that girl” daily routine that goes beyond the aesthetic and actually touches on character too. Because becoming that girl is not really about a perfect morning or a matcha in hand, but rather building small habits that make you feel like the best version of yourself and to those around you.
Not that I consider myself that girl, here is what a full day could look like inspired loosely by my own routine, hour by hour.
Morning: Setting the Tone
6:30 AM — Wake up, no phone. Before you reach for your phone, give yourself five quiet minutes to just breathe and thank God for another day. Starting your day on your own terms instead of someone else’s stories or notifications sets the tone for everything that follows.
6:35 AM — Make the bed. It sounds so small, but it is the first accomplishment of your day. A made bed means a calmer room and a little momentum to carry into everything else.
6:40 AM — Lemon water, electrolytes, and creatine gummies (my personal fave). Hydration first, always. Your body has been resting for hours, so give it something good before the coffee comes in.
6:45 AM — Devotional and/or gratitude journal. This is where the heart of “that girl” really lives. She is not just productive, she’s grounded. Taking a few minutes to read the bible, pray, or write down what you are thankful for keeps your day rooted in something bigger than yourself and your to-do list.
7:00 AM — Skincare. Cleanse, vitamin C serum, moisturizer, and please do not skip the SPF! This is not vanity, this is a few quiet minutes of caring for yourself before the world asks anything of you.
7:15 AM — Get dressed. Neutral tones, a pop of color, whatever feels like you. Getting dressed for the day, even if you are staying home, tells your brain it is time to show up.
7:30 AM — Matcha or chai tea + protein overnight oats. Fuel before movement. This is about giving your body what it needs, not restricting it.
8:15 AM — Movement. Pilates, weight lifting, or a crisp fall walk outside. Moving your body is not about punishment, it is about feeling strong and motivated for the day.

Midday: Doing the Work
9:00 AM — Text someone you love. A good morning text to your mom, grandma, sister, or boyfriend is such a small thing, but it keeps your relationships close even on a busy day.
9:05 AM to 12:45 PM — Work blocks, breaks, and lunch. Lo fi playlist, Pomodoro timers, a coffee break with a snack, and a high protein lunch to keep you fueled. This is the part where “that girl” actually puts in the work. She is not a lazy girl, she is showing up and getting things done.
12:20 PM — Midday walk. Forest-bathing, leaf-peeping, whatever you want to call it, get a little vitamin D and a reset before you go back to your tasks. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your focus is to step outside for ten minutes.
Afternoon: Rest and Connection
3:00 PM — Sweet treat and planner check in. An energy ball, a protein bar, or dark chocolate and nuts. Check your planner, see what is left, and give yourself credit for what you have already done.
4:00 PM — Stretch it out. Close the computer and give your body a minute to reset before the evening starts.
4:10 PM — Text your bestie something nice or funny, just because. No reason needed. This is the kind of thing that keeps friendships connected.
4:30 PM — Read or call a friend. A few chapters of a good book or a real conversation with someone you love. Either way, this is time that fills you up rather than drains you.
Evening: Wind It Down
5:00 PM — Cook a cozy dinner from scratch. There is something so grounding about making a healthy comfort meal with your own hands, especially in the fall.
6:00 PM — Post dinner walk. Get those steps in and let your food settle while you enjoy the crisp air.
6:45 PM — Quiet time. A show, some scrolling, or a book. This is your permission slip to just relax.
8:45 PM — Shower and nighttime skincare. Wash the day off, literally and figuratively.
9:15 PM — Candle lit, phone on Do Not Disturb. This is where the evening devotional, journal, and prayer come back in. Closing your day the same intentional way you opened it is what makes this routine feel full circle.
9:30 PM — Read in bed.
10:00 PM — Lights out. Rest is not lazy, it is productive. Say a prayer and go to sleep, your body and mind need the rest and recovery so you can do it all again tomorrow!

Optional, But Amazing: 💗 Small Acts of Kindness For The Day:
Part of being “that girl” is remembering that this is not just about you. A few small ways to spread that beauty outward:
- Hold the door open for someone
- Compliment a stranger and make their day
- Send an encouraging text to someone who needs it
- Let someone merge or go ahead of you in line
- Leave a kind review for a small business
At the end of the day, “that girl” is not a costume you put on. She is the version of you that shows up with intention, takes care of her body and her soul, stays close to the people she loves, and leaves a little more kindness in the world.
This fall, I hope this routine gives you a few ideas to build your own version of her, one that actually fits your life!
