Start with your sandwich “filling” aka a coordinating top and jeans or a dress, then add the “bread” with a contrasting color. Here, I’ve opted for a cream base before adding contrast with a black leather jacket, Mary-Jane shoes, a black belt, and black bag. Voila, a balanced fall outfit every time!

I opted for my cropped cashmere cardigan from Quince, which has a more elevated vibe and is perfect for date night or dinner with the girls. I love pairing tall boots with shorter hems in the fall, and these Poppy Barley boots are a forever fave!

My Citizens of Humanity Ayla jeans are one of my newer additions to my fall wardrobe and I love how easy they are to style. Here, I paired them with Mary-Jane flats and a chunky cardigan for a uniform-worthy look that’s effortlessly chic.
